The Role As our Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely, cost‑effective procurement across the Aller Aqua Group. Reporting to our Group Procurement Manager, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain supply chain efficiency and compliance. Key Responsibilities Plan, negotiate, and contract raw materials for our EU factories Set prices for all raw materials to support least‑cost formulation Ensure raw materials are contracted in the right volume, quality and best price and delivery/payment terms Maintain and build professional relationships with suppliers, aiming to become a preferred client Develop good forecasts for raw material needs Lead the professionalization of the group's procurement systems. Liaise with R & D, Quality and local factories. Qualifications You are driven by a desire to make a difference and seek the best procurement opportunities for the group. You have several years' experience from a similar position in the food industry or even in aquaculture or agriculture. Your experience comes from working in a multinational and proactive environment. Besides strong skills in negotiation and English, you are an IT super user, especially in Excel and Power BI. As your job involves visiting vendors, fairs etc. around the world, you may expect approximately 20‑30 travel days per year. Why work at Aller Aqua?
