Bakers Delight Edgeworth & Bakers Delight Cardiff are seeking multiple motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Bakers to join the Bakery. Key Responsibilities Preparation and production of quality bakery products to Bakers Delight as per BDH recipe; training will be provided for BDH recipe. Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough. Mixing, scaling and dividing dough as required. Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods. Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products. Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, buttercream and edible toppings. Maintaining the cleanliness of machines, tools and premises and abide by company policies and procedures in relation to WHS (Workplace Health and Safety) and Food Safety to ensure a safe working environment for customers, staff and contractors. Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times, etc. Selection Criteria Ability to be available for work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 4am). Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff. Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department. Applicants with minimum of 1 year’ experience and/or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have advantage for this role. #J-18808-Ljbffr
