Aerodrome Engagement Lead Location: Melbourne or Brisbane (other bureau capital city offices will be considered) Employment type: Full-time Seniority level: Not Applicable Job function: Administrative, Other, and General Business Industry: Environmental Services, Government Administration, and Government Relations Services Pay range: A$115,443.00/yr – A$125,832.00/yr ($115,443 – $125,832 per annum + 15.4% super ) Base pay range: A$115,443.00/yr - A$125,832.00/yr Application closing date: Tuesday, 09 December 2025 Reference link: Position Overview The Aviation, Land and Maritime Transport (ALMT) Program is responsible for the Bureau's business relationships with service delivery partners, government stakeholders, and both domestic and international customers operating in the aviation, land and maritime transport sectors. The Aerodrome Engagement team is responsible for increasing proactive engagement with the aerodrome operators and managing the relationships with Airservices Australia. In addition to managing this external engagement, the team works closely with the Aviation Customer Engagement team and observation delivery teams to deliver outstanding value to the Australian aviation industry. Responsibilities Manage proactive engagement with aerodrome operators Maintain and grow relationships with Airservices Australia Collaborate with the Aviation Customer Engagement and observation delivery teams to deliver value to the industry Contribute to the planning of aviation meteorological services Qualifications Motivated customer engagement specialist with understanding of aviation sector Sound initiative and leadership capabilities Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience working across teams in technical domains Demonstrated project management skills Influencing and stakeholder management experience Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Bureau of Meteorology by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
