Base pay range A$130,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr SecurITon Technologies is a leading Australian Managed Services Provider and private cloud/datacentre operator , delivering secure and high-availability solutions across government, enterprise, and commercial sectors. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our Networks division. This role is primarily focused on Level 3 BAU network operations , with involvement in infrastructure upgrades, cloud/hybrid networking, and customer-facing project work . You will support SecurITon’s IRAP-aligned private cloud, multi-region datacentres, and customer network environments across Australia. You will work alongside senior specialists, architects, and the Team Lead – Networks to ensure stability, security, and improvement across all network services. Provide BAU support, incident resolution, problem management, and post-incident reviews. Support complex, multi-tenant datacentre networks across M1, M2, Melbourne CBD, Sydney, and Equinix sites. Deliver migrations and deployments using Cisco, Fortinet/FortiGate, Palo Alto , and advanced routing/switching. Implement and maintain: Cisco Nexus 9k switching and datacentre fabric Citrix NetScaler, F5 BIG-IP/LTM load balancers Maintain high-quality network documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and handover material. Support Azure networking and hybrid connectivity , including vNets, vWAN, ExpressRoute, VPN, and routing architecture. Work with Azure Private DNS Zones, Private DNS Resolver, and hybrid DNS patterns , including forwarders, conditional forwarding, split-brain DNS, and on-prem AD-integrated DNS. Participate in the on-call roster. Attend datacentre sites as needed. Required Experience & Skills 5+ years as a Network Engineer with 2+ years in a Senior / Level 3 role . Proven experience in MSP or multi-tenant environments. Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management. Advanced routing/switching at CCNP level or above , including: eBGP, iBGP, OSPF, EIGRP , routing policies, route reflectors Hands‑on experience with cloud networking (Azure or AWS). Strong understanding of: Hybrid DNS patterns integrating on-prem AD DNS and cloud DNS Experience with: Citrix NetScaler , F5 BIG‑IP/LTM IPSec/SSL VPNs Certifications required: Fortinet NSE4+ Experience with ISP-level networking: BGP multihoming, MPLS . SD‑WAN/SASE experience with Meraki , Fortinet , Palo Alto , Prisma , Zscaler , or Netskope .
