LTD. – Grafton NSW Job Type: Permanent position | Part time position Job Description EOI Chef – Aged Care About the business Catering Industries Pty Ltd is a leading provider of contracted hospitality services (catering, cleaning and laundry) to Australia’s health and aged care, education, government, corporate and resources sector. We currently employ over 1,800 personnel engaged in various operations in our active markets. About the role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced chef to join our kitchen team at our new client’s Residential Aged Care facility in South Grafton, NSW. The successful applicant will be required to commence work early to mid‑November 2025. Hours of employment: 30‑35 hours per week with Monday‑Sunday shifts. Weekend and public holiday loadings apply. Roster will be discussed with successful candidates. Requirements: At least 2 doses of the COVID‑19 vaccine and a current Federal Police Check (or willingness to apply) 2+ years experience in a similar role Aged‑care experience highly regarded Reliability, punctuality and ability to multi‑task Collaborative and team player, empathy and respect towards aged‑care residents Own reliable transport Key Responsibilities Cook tasty home‑style meals for elderly residents Clean kitchen area Adhere to and complete quality assurance documents Washing dishes in the main kitchen and plating of meals Assist the chef manager as required in stock orders and preparation of food/beverages Benefits and perks The successful applicant will receive a competitive hourly rate plus penalty loadings as per Hospitality Award.
