The position Due to continual growth, our client is seeking a Fixed Wireless Technician to join their team on a full‑time basis, working Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.30pm, servicing their new and existing cliental across the Perth metro area and WA. The role would see day to day operations varying between new service installations, service calls and other tasks as required. Role responsibilities Developing effective relationships with all key stakeholders, including customers, Field Operations and Provisioning staff. Providing service and customer support during field visits ensuring a high level of customer service at every interaction. Managing on‑site installation, repair, maintenance and testing for all related areas of field operations, including but not limited to installation and maintenance for fixed wireless customer installs, fixed wireless transmission site installs, changes to transmission site installs and customer service calls and data centre changes. Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment where needed in defined timeframes. Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions, communicating findings and requirements to relevant stakeholders. Producing detailed and accurate service reports in the correct company systems. Operating vehicles and machinery in a safe manner. Following all company procedures and protocols and particularly being responsible in all areas of work place health and safety. Maintaining relevant certifications as required and on time. Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organisation. Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications. To be considered Previous experience as an Internet Installation Technician or similar role in a telecommunication company or network service provider preferred/highly regarded High level of customer service for clients and stakeholders Current qualifications with senior first aid, police clearance, white card and working at heights Current qualifications with yellow card, elevated work platform and restricted/open registration cabling licence including structured endorsement preferred/highly regarded Previous experience working with network equipment from vendors such as Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, Netonix, SIAE, SAF, NEC and Ignitenet is highly regarded Intermediate computer skills with ability to efficiently use an internal customer management system, ticketing system and Microsoft Suite A positive attitude and approach towards work and being a part of a team What’s on offer Permanent full‑time position with our client – Monday to Friday Van and tools provided for role Overtime and weekend work available, with overtime pay, on call pay and travel pay additionally Join a company with great culture and growth opportunities Application If you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity and meet the above criteria, please click APPLY NOW and submit your CV.
