ROLE PURPOSE As the key gatekeeper for all things eCommerce, the Ecommerce Lead will own the performance, optimisation, and growth of multiple global brand websites. We’re looking for an absolute Shopify pro — someone confident across all supporting apps, integrations, and tools, with a sharp eye for both aesthetics and functionality. In this hands‑on role, you’ll manage day‑to‑day platform operations with speed and precision, including product uploads, merchandising, homepage and blog updates, and promotional rollouts. You’ll continuously identify opportunities to enhance site performance and elevate the customer experience, ensuring every site delivers a best‑in‑class look and feel. Working closely with the Head of Digital , you’ll analyse performance data to uncover friction points and implement strategies that boost conversion rate (CVR) , average order value (AOV) , and customer retention . You’ll also lead development projects and digital transformation initiatives , collaborating with SEO partners, developers, and marketing teams to ensure every site is technically optimised, commercially driven, and continuously evolving. Beyond core eCommerce management, this role will also take ownership of several key growth areas: CRM & Loyalty: Build and execute CRM and loyalty strategies to grow our database, increase retention, and strengthen customer lifetime value. This includes planning and managing customer journeys, segmentation, automation flows, and community-driven loyalty programs. Marketplaces: Oversee and optimise Amazon and TikTok Shop performance — from listings and campaigns to content and conversion — ensuring each marketplace aligns with brand and commercial objectives. Affiliates: Support and co‑manage affiliate initiatives in partnership with the marketing and digital teams. Drive ongoing recruitment, outreach, and platform optimisation to deliver high‑performing partnerships and collaborations. Ultimately, this role is about owning the full ecommerce ecosystem — ensuring every visitor’s journey is seamless from landing page to checkout, while driving performance through optimised traffic, conversion efficiency, retention, and loyalty. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Site Management & Content Execution Maintain and update multiple global brand websites, ensuring accuracy and alignment with marketing calendars, campaigns, and promotions. Execute product uploads, merchandising, homepage updates, and blog content with precision and consistency. Ensure all digital content is visually cohesive, brand‑aligned, and conversion‑focused. Analyse site data and user behaviour with the Head of Digital to identify drop‑off points and improvement areas. Develop and execute strategies to improve CVR, AOV, and customer retention, including landing page optimisation, cross‑sell/upsell tactics, and bundling strategies. Implement tools and experiences that drive engagement, such as quizzes, ratings & reviews, subscriptions, and loyalty integrations. CRM, Loyalty & Retention Develop and execute a robust CRM and loyalty strategy to drive acquisition, retention, and lifetime value. Manage Klaviyo flows, database segmentation, and lifecycle marketing campaigns to improve engagement and repeat purchase. Lead the rollout of loyalty and community programs, ensuring alignment with brand values and measurable performance outcomes. Technical & Development Leadership Lead all development projects and agency partnerships, from bug fixes to major releases and platform improvements. Ensure Shopify sites are fully optimised from a technical SEO perspective across product pages, collections, and blog content. Collaborate with partners to deliver best‑practice solutions for site speed, navigation, and mobile optimisation. Marketplaces & Affiliates Manage and optimise performance across Amazon and TikTok Shop, ensuring listings, content, and campaigns are on‑brand and commercially effective. Oversee affiliate marketing initiatives in collaboration with Marketing and Digital, including partner outreach, code setup, performance tracking, and platform optimisation. Cross‑Functional Collaboration Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns across digital touchpoints and ensure consistent brand execution. Collaborate with Creative, Operations, and Product teams to ensure a seamless end‑to‑end customer experience. Coordinate eCommerce content briefing and cross‑team communication to maintain efficiency and alignment. Monitor and manage inventory visibility to minimise out‑of‑stocks and cart abandonment. Use analytics and insights to inform decisions, forecast trends, and identify opportunities for revenue and growth. Stay ahead of emerging eCommerce trends, tools, and Shopify innovations.
