Join the dynamic team at McDonald's Ballina as a Shift Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer service at our restaurant located in Ballina, NSW 2478. As a Shift Manager, you will play a key part in the smooth running of the restaurant and contribute to the overall success of the McDonald's brand. Perhaps you are a Crew Trainer ready to take the next step, or a Junior Manager wanting to advance to Department Management... or a Shift Manager looking for part-time while you further your studies, or manage family commitments. All of these options are possible for the right person. What you'll be doing Overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift, including managing staff, handling cash and stock control Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts including days, evenings and weekends as required Ensuring excellent customer service by maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness and safety Providing coaching and support to crew members to develop their skills and grow within the organisation Analysing sales data and staffing requirements to drive operational efficiency Acting as a brand ambassador and role model, embodying the McDonald's values and culture Collaborating with the restaurant management team to implement strategic initiatives What we’re looking for Previous experience in a supervisory or management role, ideally within the hospitality or retail industry. McDonald's qualifications a big advantage. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent customer service orientation and a passion for delivering high-quality experiences Solid problem-solving and decision‑making abilities to handle daily operational challenges Numeracy skills and the ability to analyse data to drive process improvements A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment Must be willing to relocate to or near Ballina.
