About the Role Monash Health is reimagining the way care is led and delivered.As part ofourrefreshed leadership structure, theAmbulatory Care Managerat the Victorian Heart Hospital (VHH)plays a pivotal role in leading and evolving our specialist outpatient services. Thissignificantrole reports to the Operations Director/Director of Nursing(DON)VHH.If appointed, you will oversee all ambulatory services including specialist clinics, administration, billing, and booking functions.Specifically, you will: Lead the planning, deliveryand evaluation of ambulatory services Develop and implement innovative models of care Build collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners, including the Department of Health Drive performance, safety, and quality outcomes Manage resources, budgets, and workforce development Promote a culture of excellence, innovation, and person-centredcare Thisis a full-time, permanentposition based on-site at VHH andoperatesduring normal business hours, Monday to Friday.Some travel between Monash Health sites will berequiredand a current Driver’s Licence is a mandatory requirement for this role. About You Holding tertiary qualifications in nursing/midwifery, medicine, alliedhealthor a health management related field, you candemonstrateprevioussuccess in a management role, leading teams and managing complex services. You’rea strategic and innovative leader with a deep understanding of ambulatory care and a passion forimproving access and outcomes.You build strong relationships, inspire collaboration, and drive continuous improvement.
