Lead Application Specialist

About the role We are seeking a Lead Application Specialist to provide an application support on customer application with a view to develop future enhancements. This role offers hybrid working and is based in Canberra. Australian Citizenship is mandatory. Current or reinstatable AGSVA NV1 Security clearance required. Responsibilities Troubleshoot incidents and provide technical code fixes and data fixes. Develop program enhancements as defined in functional requirements / user stories. Ensure unit tests are developed and executed on all code changes and enhancements prior to peer review. Ensure peer review is always completed successfully prior to migration of data fixes, code changes and enhancements. Identify recurrent incidents and undertake root cause analysis providing permanent solutions to underlying problems. Ensures that solutions adhere to development standards. Maintains current documentation on all programs, systems and procedures. Ensure SLAs are achieved, and the customers' expectations are exceeded. Ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed.
