Superior Care Group is seeking an outstanding motivated aged care professional with leadership aspirations to lead the Care team at our 96‑place aged care service, Merrimac Park Private Care, located at Merrimac. Merrimac Park has been rated freshly compliant with the regulator. Key Responsibilities Supervision and accountability of clinical care Responsible for all clinical care Support Centre Manager Accountability for clinical accreditation standards Investigation and reporting per the Serious Incident Response Scheme Overseeing AN‑ACC with the Clinical Review Coordinator Resident care plan development using the Lee Care clinical documentation system QPS benchmarking reporting responsibility Maintaining family relationships, negotiating care planning outcomes Staff education and professional development Involved in recruitment, rostering, phone support and human resource management in liaison with the Centre Manager Benefits of the Role Privately owned family company with experienced CEO and Company Directors willing to grow the Head of Care’s personal skills Fast direct decision‑making Autonomous position reporting directly to the family Centre Manager Working with an Aged Care Group Manager who coordinates the provider's policies Family‑friendly and flexible working conditions Well‑resourced equipment, staffing and hotel services Well‑resourced management structure including Clinical, staff physiotherapist, Hotel Manager and AN‑ACC Coordinator Emphasis on accessing personal and professional development opportunities Dedicated parking, meals provided and subsidised gym membership Important Personal Qualities Aged Care experience is essential Minimum two years experience at clinical management level required Highly organised, excellent time‑management Aptitude for conquering challenges and learning new ideas Excellent written and verbal communicator A natural “people person” who enjoys resolving interpersonal problems Passionate about workplace culture, creating a workplace filled with love, respect and fun A professional demeanor, able to operate at a high‑pressure executive level Committed to the company values of Courtesy, Respect, Consideration, Co‑operation and Initiative The successful candidate will be a high‑energy Registered Nurse with a passion for excellent resident care and developing a caring respectful workforce.
