As a Graduate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with a broad range of taxation, compliance, and advisory services , while developing your professional and technical expertise through hands‑on experience and mentoring. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing and lodging income tax returns , business activity statements (BAS/IAS) , and other compliance documents for individuals and businesses Assisting with financial statement preparation , bookkeeping , and reconciliations Supporting clients with tax planning and advisory services to help minimise their tax obligations Conducting research and analysis to stay current with tax and compliance changes Collaborating with senior team members to deliver high‑quality outcomes for clients Developing your technical and client service skills through structured mentoring and ongoing training Minimum Requirements Before applying, applicants must have: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting , Commerce, or a closely related discipline Academic performance in the degree is not subject to minimum GPA requirements Australian working rights , or a valid visa with the ability to obtain permanent residency Certification or demonstrated proficiency in cloud accounting software , such as Xero (Advisor Certified) or MYOB (Partner/Advisor Certified) — or willingness to obtain certification within the first 3 months Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite , particularly Excel and Word A basic understanding of Australian taxation and accounting principles Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines effectively Prior experience in a public practice accounting firm (internship, cadetship, or part‑time role) will be highly regarded but not essential.
