Lead the Drafting and Design Function for One of Australia’s Premier Façade Companies. Cladding Creations is growing, and we’re seeking an experienced Drafting Manager to lead our drafting and design division at our Burleigh Heads office. You bring a deep understanding of façade systems, aluminium cladding, and shop‑drawing production, along with the organisational and communication skills needed to oversee an efficient drafting function. Ideally, you will Have 5+ years of experience in architectural drafting (façade / cladding experience highly desirable) with proven management experience Be highly proficient in AutoCAD (required) Have strong experience with Revit or 3D modelling software Have excellent communication and organisational skills Be detail‑focused, quality‑driven, and technically meticulous Have proven experience mentoring or leading other drafters (or a clear desire to step into this space) Be proactive, solution‑focused, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines What You’ll Be Doing Leading, guiding, and supporting the drafting team Scheduling, delegating, and organising drafting workloads Undertaking advanced drafting and technical design work Producing and reviewing shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for aluminium cladding and façade systems Ensuring all drawing packages are complete, accurate, and production‑ready Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and external stakeholders. Providing technical clarity and resolving design‑related queries Ensuring drafting standards, templates, and documentation remain consistent and high‑quality Contributing to continuous improvement across drafting workflows Please note: This role does not involve dealing directly with external clients such as builders or architects, but may require communication with material suppliers.
