About the role The Senior Manager, Risk Capability is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development, implementation and continuous improvement of enterprise‑wide risk management frameworks and practices. This position is central to uplifting organisational risk maturity, embedding a strong risk culture and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Group Head of Risk Transformation, you will define and implement risk management responsibilities across the three lines of accountability, conduct current state assessments and create roadmaps to advance risk capability. Key Accountabilities Define and implement risk management roles and responsibilities across the three lines of accountability, including workshops and maturity roadmaps. Design and deliver risk management learning journeys, incorporating feedback and developing training materials. Develop and execute a comprehensive risk training and capability uplift roadmap. Partner with business leaders to embed risk awareness and ownership throughout the organisation. Drive initiatives to uplift risk maturity and strengthen a consistent, enterprise‑wide risk culture. What will you bring? Experience in a similar risk / compliance / audit or assurance related senior manager role, ideally in superannuation or financial services. Strong organisational, communication and presentation skills with the ability to provide meaningful insights at executive level. Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, work autonomously and collaborate effectively as part of a team. Proven ability to build trust and strong working relationships across all levels of an organisation. Professional certifications in risk management or compliance (e.g. GRC, PRIMA or equivalent).
