District Sales Manager - Gas Detection Join to apply for the District Sales Manager - Gas Detection role at Bendigo Advertiser My client is seeking an experienced and motivated District Sales Manager in Australia to aggressively grow and develop our market share for world‑class gas detection products, solutions, and services. This role is based in NSW and primarily covers the Hunter Region. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the sales cycle at the end‑user and distributor levels. Sell gas detection solutions through distribution and directly to customers in Australia. Generate new sales opportunities and business development. Position our suite of products, services & solutions. Increase and self‑generate new sales leads across both iNet and traditional sales channels. Prospect, prepare and present proposals, and maintain existing relationships. Identify, manage and evaluate current and new distribution channels. Train distributor partners. Maximize profit. Continuously maintain the company CRM (Salesforce) and accurately capture the sales funnel. Travel up to 50% around Australia as customer and business needs dictate. Qualifications At least 3–5 years of sales experience selling to Australian‑based industrial customers (Oil and Gas, Mining, Engineering, Construction). Experience working with and supporting distribution sales channels. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Goal‑oriented, highly ethical, acts with integrity. Experience in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, One Note). Right to live and work in Australia. Desired Attributes (Advantageous) Gas detection or industrial safety experience (sales, technical, or customer service). Sales management experience (managing a team). Experience in selling software and services such as maintenance programs and rental contracts/agreements. Proficiency in SalesForce.com.
