Civil Design Engineer- Land Development Subdivision Stormwater

ROLE SCOPE We are searching for an accomplished and driven Civil Design Engineer to support our expanding Perth team. This senior position blends hands‑on technical expertise with operational oversight, guiding the successful delivery of civil design infrastructure projects while fostering a culture of excellence. In this role, you will work on project outcomes, strengthen team capability, support and develop emerging engineers, and champion the growth of our footprint across the Perth WA market. ACCOUNTABILITIES Work on the successful delivery of civil design engineering projects from initial concept to final handover, with a primary focus on subdivisions, ensuring outcomes are high‑quality, on schedule, and within budget. Guide and support team members including engineers, designers, and drafters, cultivating a collaborative environment built on technical excellence and continuous improvement. Drive design projects through active involvement in client engagement, bid preparation, tender submissions, and proposal evaluations. Provide expert technical and design oversight across a diverse portfolio of civil design projects, including roads, stormwater systems, earthworks, land development, and infrastructure. Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver seamless project execution and exceptional client experiences. Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation. Maintain strict adherence to Australian Standards, local authority requirements, and company quality management procedures. THE PRINCIPAL CIVIL DESIGN ENGINEER PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory); Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status or eligibility is highly regarded. Minimum 6+ years’ proven experience in civil design engineering, with a strong track record in design, project delivery, and quality standards. Demonstrated success in supporting and mentoring high‑performing engineers. Strong client relationship skills, with experience in supporting tender preparation, and bid management. Exceptional communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement capabilities. In‑depth knowledge of Western Australia civil engineering standards, guidelines, and approval processes. MRWA certification or working towards it in sewer and water design, highly desirable for subdivision approvals. HIGHLY DESIRABLE TRAINING QUALIFICATIONS Part or Full completion of MRWA and eligibility complete it Professional Engineers Registration Chartered Engineer (CPEng) status or progress towards it (desirable). 12D Certified COMPELLING PACKAGE OFFER A senior engineer position as Civil Design Engineer with genuine influence, support, and the freedom to make your mark and grow but be rewarded significantly for it.
