Our Values Our People Matter Honesty & Integrity Good, Better, Best We Create Value Part of A Community About the Role This hands-on position plays a critical part in the safe movement, organisation and preparation of steel products through our galvanizing workflow. Working within a busy yard and plant environment, you will ensure materials are stored, handled and transported efficiently to support production throughput. Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts to load, unload and transport steel products around the yard and plant Assist with pre- and post-galvanizing preparation, including sorting, staging, bundling and quality checks Maintain safe and organised yard areas, ensuring clear access and correct storage of incoming and outgoing materials Support truck loading/unloading and secure loads in line with load restraint requirements Work collaboratively with production, dispatch and customer service teams to meet daily throughput targets Conduct daily forklift pre-start checks and report hazards or maintenance issues Follow all WHS, environmental, and operational procedures within a galvanizing environment About You You take pride in safe, efficient work and enjoy being part of a team that keeps operations moving. You will bring A valid forklift licence (LF) Experience handling steel, large assemblies, long loads or similar (preferred but not essential) Strong focus on safety, situational awareness and safe load handling Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Reliability, punctuality and a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to perform manual labour when required. Requirements Experience working in a fast paced industrial or manufacturing environment. Good communication skills to understand direction and instructions.
