Our Personal Care Workers (PCWs) are vital in achieving this at our Ipswich Facility. Working closely with clinical, lifestyle, and hospitality teams, you will deliver resident-centric care in a compassionate and timely manner, enabling residents to make choices and have control over their support needs. About You We prioritize attitude and aptitude; experience in aged care is not mandatory. Essential qualities include a resident/customer-centric approach, effective communication, rapport-building, and professionalism. You should also meet the following criteria: At least 1 year of experience in the Australian Aged Care Sector Strong work ethic, teamwork skills, and adherence to safety procedures High safety awareness to prevent falls and injuries Ability to think quickly and focus on residents’ well-being A passion for caring for the elderly and building positive relationships with residents and their families Positive teamwork attitude, punctuality, supportive nature, and a friendly demeanor Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed the first year of nursing studies Industry compliance with NDIS Workers Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain it (apply here ) This role involves physical activity, including bending, lifting, and pushing, and requires completing an online medical assessment prior to the formal offer.
