Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer , you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and take ownership of high-impact capital projects. You will be responsible for managing large-scale engineering initiatives, driving change, and building robust systems and processes to support the site's strategic goals. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage capital engineering projects from concept through implementation, ensuring delivery on time. Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and resource plans; oversee procurement and supplier negotiations for equipment and services. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication, presentations, and workshops to drive alignment and project endorsement. Determine and secure project resource requirements; support recruitment and manage day-to-day project execution across cross‑functional teams. Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. Coordinate with relevant departments to manage project interdependencies and ensure smooth execution. Track, report, and communicate progress on capital project plans, ensuring transparency and accountability across all levels. What You’ll Bring Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in project management, ideally within FMCG, manufacturing, or a regulated industry. Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical teams across design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Analytical problem‑solver with demonstrated experience in root cause analysis and structured project delivery.
