About the role Due to a period of growth, our Adelaide Engineering team are looking for qualified Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team on a full-time basis. The LAME is responsible to the Senior Base Engineer (SBE) and Base Maintenance Production Supervisors (BMPS) for the performance and completion of assigned aircraft maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible to the Safety and Quality Manager (SQM) and Maintenance Manager (MM) for the supervision and certification of aircraft maintenance on behalf of Engineering. Your duties will include: Completion of all scheduled and unscheduled Line or Base Maintenance tasks as required, ensuring aircraft maintenance, maintenance documentation and certification are completed in accordance with the applicable Instructions for Continuing Airworthiness, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), Procedures Manuals and responsible CAMO requirements. Assist and supervise allocated AME’s, Apprentices and TA’s. Be responsible for the general condition, upkeep and housekeeping of any hangar, workshop or related work areas and vehicles, ensuring all issued Aircraft Parts, Standard Parts or Materials are stored compliantly in accordance with the MOE. Be responsible for personal tool control and accountability of all tool and equipment used in maintenance. Ensure conformance to the Fatigue Risk Management System (FRMS) and compliance with Engineering Work Health and Safety Management System (WHSMS) policy and procedures. Support and promote the Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Management System (QMS) and a Just Culture. Perform any other duties as directed by the Leading hand, SBE or BMPS. Mandatory pre‑requisites Certificate IV in Aeroskills or equivalent aircraft maintenance engineering apprenticeship training. Ability to undergo and pass a pre‑employment Drug and Alcohol test. Ability to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card. Hold a current Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License issued by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) Australia with the applicable B2 categories. AME/ Apprentices close to completion of licence outcome are encouraged to apply.
