Our client is a prominent supplier of medical equipment and solutions operating throughout New Zealand. They have a strong reputation for their dedication to enhancing patient care and specialize in providing surgical equipment and kits to healthcare professionals across the country.

As a Logistics & Loan Kit Technician, you will manage the coordination of consignment loan kits and surgical equipment for workshops and demonstrations nationwide. You will ensure timely product availability and manage bookings for sales representatives, playing a crucial role in maintaining our client's reputation for excellence in healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a hospital CSSD background, previous loan kit/loan set experience in orthopaedics /sports medicine, or experience in a professional warehouse environment with strong attention to detail and a collaborative work style.

About the Role

  • Maintain surgical loaner instruments and implant sets.
  • Coordinate loan kit scheduling and logistics.
  • Keep track of loaner sets and update their content when necessary.
  • Update the set inventory lists to reflect changes in lot codes.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of sets and manage bookings for sales reps.
  • Coordinate loan kit scheduling and logistics,
  • monitor inventory and usage and troubleshoot logistical issues.
  • Work with Commercial and Marketing to ensure a proper configuration is maintained.



Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehousing or loan kit coordination within the medical device industry is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Proficiency in SAP is required.
  • Ability to commit to a long-term assignment.



Having had experience working as a Loan Kit Technician for another medical devices company would be ideal and highly considered.
