aytheon Australia is looking to recruit a System Engineer as an Integration and Verification & Validation Lead. The System Engineer needs to effectively plan and coordinate the integration and V&V testing of hardware, software, and other systems from different suppliers. The following role encompasses the Lead to : Perform systems analysis to derive function, performance and interface requirements to satisfy the system requirements. Perform system design activities (including trade studies) to ensure that the system architecture is compatible with the baselined product and is consistent across all subsystems and that the system design will meet the system level performance requirements. Maintain the design of the system including the specifications and interface requirements specifications as required. Develop and maintain system level architecture design documents as required. Perform technical risk analysis as required. Understand the systems engineering methodology, tools and procedures required to complete the systems engineering tasks assigned. Participate in major reviews throughout the lifecycle (e.g. preliminary design review, detailed design review, and test readiness review) as well as participating in peer reviews. Lead program V&V test plan setup, documentation, management of test execution where necessary. Manage the overall delivery of V&V activities and artefacts to project schedules. Deliver verification programs in accordance with Verification plans and System engineering management plan. Manage and execute V&V testing including developing testing plans, test procedure, prepare test articles, and complete formal reports to diagnose and resolve problems arising during integration. Work directly with the project teams and stakeholders to identify areas of commonality to reduce duplication of test effort and support reuse where practicable. Coordinate and lead working groups including ICWG, T&EWG. Specific skillsets we are looking for are the following : Proven experience within Test, Integration, Verification, Validation process within an engineering environment. Experience in supporting program V&V test plan setup and documentation delivery as well as management of test execution where necessary. Use of DOORS and systems engineering tools to review requirements and delivery. Develop and maintain V&V schedules and test / facility plans and be part of engineering gateway V&V deliverables (V&VP, VCRM, etc..). Experience in managing ECPs. Demonstrated experience in executing V&V activities and reporting outcomes as well as managing requirement compliance. We are looking at a start date of ASAP, and initially until 16 October 2024, with the potential to extend for the correct candidate. A NV1 security clearance is required for this role with the possibility of going to NV2. Candidates must be located in Adelaide, and be able to work from RAAF base Edinburgh.
