Bupa Medical Visa Services delivers health assessments on behalf of the Australian Government to our customers who are applying for visas to, work or study in Australia. BMVS provides assessment services for visa purposes and does not provide clinical treatment services. As such, our customer base is typically healthy and has been within Australia on a granted visa for prolonged periods of time prior to seeking a further visa. We also screen customers ahead of their appointments to ensure they are not presenting with cold and flu symptoms or returned to Australia recently as part of our preparedness for COVID‑19. Opportunity We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Pathology Collector / Health Assessor to join our Sydney team on a casual full‑time basis. Reporting to and supported by the Senior Health Assessor, the Health Assessor will be responsible for providing quality health assessments to customers undertaking a medical assessment as part of their visa application process. Responsibilities Identity Check, blood pressure, height, weight, body mass index, vision testing, urinalysis and venepuncture Facilitate smooth delivery of the applicants through the medical assessment to ensure a timely and accurate service Adhere to clinical governance and associated policies and procedures Accurate documentation of results in e Health record Your Background Certificate III or IV in Pathology (mandatory) Phlebotomy experience essential Experience working with people of multi‑cultural background Excellent customer service skills Benefits Our Sydney team are driven and professional, and we really care about the work we do.
