Ongoing role – Great career opportunity. Immediate start. Day shifts. Call 1800DRIVERS Monday to Friday until 08:00pm. Monday to Friday. Role starts at 5am. Local Metro work transporting palletised general freight. Do you consider yourself a hard‑working driver, passionate about what you do, and enjoy getting out and about on the road and interacting with customers? Based at Minchinbury, you will deliver palletised general freight in a Mercedes with a tauliner curtain, starting at 5am each day. Responsibilities Deliver palletised general freight across the local metro region. Load and unload palletised freight onto the truck, ensuring secure load placement. Reverse and manoeuvre the truck into docks and customer sites. Perform load restraint using straps. Maintain a safety‑first focus during all driving and loading operations. Skills and Experience Required Current HC Licence. Current Road Traffic History Report. Minimum 2 years HC driving experience. Experience with load restraint using straps. Competence in coupling/uncoupling various trailer types. Experience with reversing – must be able to back onto various docks and customer sites. Excellent safety‑first focus. Ability to work unsupervised. Excellent reliability and punctuality. Professionalism and a great attitude. #J-18808-Ljbffr
