Overview Our client is a bootstrapped startup on a mission to improve the lives of older Australians receiving home care services. They have spent the last year building a telephony-based conversational AI platform to provide proactive, high-value assistance to care teams delivering care to older adults living in their homes. Why We Need You This is a unique and critical role. The brilliant technical co-founder halted due to severe RSI. We need a passionate skilled engineer to step in, take ownership of codebase, help cross finish line. This isn't a typical employee role; it’s engineering leader with co founder-level equity stake. Immediate Responsibilities (First 30 Days) Take Ownership: Rapidly onboard, understand platform tech stack Dart Python JS GCP AWS via handover from technical co founder. Complete Core Integrations: Finalise The Stripe billing integration to process payments for trial. Productionise Platform: Identify/fix bugs, stabilise, ensure robust for first live users. Support the Trial: be technical lead for first paid trial, monitor/respond to issues that arise. Long-Term Role Lead all aspects technical strategy roadmap development. Scale platform to support growing user base. Iterate product based on user feedback market needs. Work as strategic partner to co founder build and grow company.
