About the Role We're looking for a Landscape Maintenance Officer who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty (literally) and loves being out in the open. You'll play a key role in keeping our green spaces in tip-top shape. If your idea of a good day includes fresh air, flowering gardens, and the satisfaction of a job well done, this one's for you. Responsibilities Maintaining parks and landscaped areas to a high standard – think pruning, planting, mulching, rose bush TLC, and more. Keeping public areas safe and tidy – yes, you'll be that quiet hero removing debris and weeds. Using a range of tools and machinery – hedge trimmers, blowers, sprayers, and more. Supporting minor park infrastructure repairs. Being a champion for safety, including traffic and pedestrian management where needed. Keeping our gear clean, functional, and safe – because tools deserve love too. Who You Are Practical experience in landscape or park maintenance. Confidence operating maintenance equipment. A strong understanding of worksite safety and traffic management. Bonus points for chemical handling accreditation. MR class Driver's Licence or willingness to obtain. White Card (Construction Safety). Basic Worksite Traffic Management Certificate. Nationally recognised Chemical Handling Training. Certificate III in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture – or you're working towards it. Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical. What's in it for you? A permanent full-time role with a salary of $74,559 - $81,976 + super 4 weeks of annual leave 3 extra days at Christmas Enjoy one RDO per fortnight Paid parental leave (12 weeks primary carer / 2 weeks partner leave).
