Temporary Opportunity – Ministerial Liaison Support Officer (1‑2 Months) Location: Perth, WA Duration: 1‑2 months Start: Immediate Are you highly organised, detail‑oriented, and experienced in government processes? We are seeking a motivated professional to join our client’s Ministerial Liaison Unit (MLU) for a short‑term assignment supporting critical ministerial and parliamentary functions. About the Role In this fast‑paced and high‑volume environment, you will: Coordinate ministerial and parliamentary correspondence to ensure timely, accurate responses. Allocate and track requests from Ministerial offices, ensuring deadlines are met. Undertake quality assurance to maintain compliance with departmental standards. Process Cabinet submissions and liaise with the Department of Premier and Cabinet. Provide advice on ministerial protocols and assist with training initiatives. Prepare reports on performance metrics and contribute to process improvements. What We’re Looking For Essential: Experience coordinating ministerial or departmental correspondence with knowledge of government processes. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills to meet strict deadlines. Ability to work independently and exercise initiative. Collaborative team player willing to share knowledge and support others. Desirable: Progress towards a relevant tertiary qualification.
