We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team at JM EM Cunningham Pty Ltd in Dandenong, VIC. This is a casual work opportunity. You will start by working 3 half days a week. This would highly suit someone semi-retired or looking to supplement other work commitments. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the local and regional road networks. As an essential member of our logistics operation, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and ensuring their shipments reach their destinations on time. What you'll be doing Operate heavy articulated vehicle in a safe and responsible manner Load, secure, and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and driving hours Maintain a clean & tidy truck adhering to contractors/our health & safety commitments Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients What we're looking for Valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence Minimum 2 years' experience operating heavy vehicles (HC) in a commercial setting Minimum 3-5 years of truck driving experience Strong knowledge of road rules, traffic regulations, and safe driving practices Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Good physical fitness and the ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects Australian work rights are required for this position What we offer At JM EM Cunningham Pty Ltd, we believe in rewarding our hardworking team.
