Casual Depot Assistant – Re.Group North Lakes, Queensland, Australia Return-It, a wholly owned subsidiary of Re.Group, specializes in managing Container Deposit Schemes (CDS) across Australia. With fully staffed depots and express collection points, we provide a seamless recycling experience for our customers. Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors. Sort recyclable items into their correct categories. Transport items to the relevant storage area (forklift or manual handling). Welcome customers and assist them with recycling products to inspire return visits. Handle cash transactions accurately. Adhere to all health and safety procedures and highlight any hazards/faults/risks. Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. Ensure staff are trained to work safely and efficiently. Maintain a forklift license (mandatory). Work Tuesdays–Saturday (15–30 hours) with full cover availability as required. Qualifications Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience. Experience with Excel and Outlook. Strong 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions. Strong work ethic and a team player. Physically fit to be on your feet for up to 10 hours a day. Forklift licence mandatory. Full availability for regular and cover shifts.
