Overview SRT Logistics are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our Devonport (Quoiba) team. You will need flexibility to work various shifts to cover the demands of a busy 24/7 operation. Ideally you will have a minimum of three years of supervisory experience in a transport or fast‑moving consumer goods related industry and a high level of communication and literacy skills. Transport industry knowledge on CoR/Mass Management and load restraint is essential. Desirable Qualifications Certificate IV Transport & Distribution/Warehousing Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday/Sunday work. Responsibilities Ensure all freight is loaded onto the correct vehicles in accordance with direction and paperwork received from the Freight Co‑ordinator and that the run sheet for each load is correctly completed and signed off. Ensure all freight is handled in accordance with safety requirements and that the potential for damage is minimised. Ensure all freight is stored appropriately with regard to temperature requirements. Ensure all freight is stored with regard to access requirements and stock rotation. Communicate with drivers on any issue outside the normal relating to freight loaded onto their vehicle. Communicate through the chain of command to management on all relevant issues, including but not limited to freight overlooked, damaged freight, driver concerns, accident reports, incident reports and equipment failure. Participate with senior management on tasks such as problem solving and planning. Ensure that tasks specified for Warehouse Supervisors are completed and that the check sheet is completed and signed off.
