Overview Join to apply for the Licensed Surveyor role at Structerre Consulting Our Victorian Offices Structerre's Victorian offices provide surveying for all manner of residential and commercial buildings and additions using systems and procedures designed to be industry leaders in efficiency. There is flexibility to be based out of any of our 2 office locations. Responsibilities Collaborating with senior management and survey manager to determine and implement strategies to achieve section goals and objectives; Undertaking boundary surveys (as required) for the purpose of supporting new residential building works; Assisting and providing solutions to the field survey team in more complex surveys; Providing technical advice to stakeholders within and outside the Section, and to external clients, as required; Contributing to the development and direction of the Surveying Section; Customer relationship management; Providing leadership to, and assisting in the development of, surveying staff; Working in conjunction with the existing engineering/geotechnical group; Liaising with clients in respect of their needs by phone, email or face to face; Learning and utilising new concepts for career development purposes. Who are we looking for? We are looking for a client focused individual who has sufficient experience as a successful Licensed Land Surveying Professional, with opportunity in the future to manage the team. The successful applicant will have the ability to demonstrate: Qualifications Current registration as a Licensed surveyor in VIC (or reciprocal rights from interstate); 10 yrs+ surveying experience in the Melbourne residential/land development market; Strong management and leadership skills; A strong client focus and desire to deliver practical, sustainable and effective solutions; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; High level experience using a popular survey package (Trimble Business Centre), or CAD package; Strong working knowledge of Spear and Subdivision processes; A high level of initiative and proactivity, particularly in relation to creative problem solving; A sound understanding of mentoring and coaching techniques; Excellent self‑organisational skills; Ability to teach and learn simultaneously; A valid Construction White Card; A valid Drivers Licence.
