Location Queensberry Children’s Centre (Parkville) Swanston Street Children’s Centre (Parkville) University of Melbourne Early Learning Centre (Abbotsford) Role type: Full-time; Continuing (Multiple roles available) Department: Student and Scholarly Services; Chief Operating Officer Portfolio Salary: UOM 4 – $80,400 – $85,328 p.a. plus 17% super Responsibilities Deliver quality education: Implement and evaluate educational programs tailored to individual and group needs. Ensure child safety: Actively supervise children’s activities to ensure their safety at all times. Collaborate and reflect: Work with team members to create stimulating learning environments and critically reflect on teaching practices. Maintain professional relationships: Build inclusive and positive relationships with families and colleagues. Qualifications You have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, coupled with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to nurturing children’s learning and development. Possess an early childhood Diploma qualification approved by ACECQA. Hold a current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid Certificate. Demonstrate knowledge of National Quality Standards and relevant legislation. Be willing to work across the University of Melbourne Early Childhood Centres. Have strong IT and communication skills.
