About the Role Our Victorian division is currently seeking Portable Fire Technicians to join our service team to look after our client base in the Melbourne metropolitan area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing of Fire Equipment in accordance with the Australian Standards along with Fire Equipment product sales across a diverse range of industries. Your primary duties will include: Maintenance and repair of portable fire protection equipment to Australian Standards Routine testing in accordance with Australian Standards to fire protection equipment Liaising with customers, promoting a professional and friendly relationship Ensuring compliance to Environmental Health and Safety requirements Requirements To be considered for this role, ideally you will need to have: Fire industry experience would be highly regarded but is not essential VBA licence in fire hose reels and unpumped hydrants preferred however is not essential as training can be provided Current Driver’s Licence Strong focus and commitment to workplace safety Excellent customer service and time management Outstanding verbal and written communication skills Good personal presentation Willingness to multi-skill into other areas of fire protection Additional Details The position may require the successful candidate to be available to participate in a callout roster and be available to travel to regional surrounding areas from time to time.
