We are currently seeking a motivated and capable Project Engineer to join our Perth-based team. This role is integral to facilitating the successful delivery of engineering projects across the region. Initially, the successful candidate will support senior team members in executing several major projects and, over time, will be expected to take ownership and lead projects from initiation through to completion, based on experience and project complexity. Your Responsibilities Participate in internal and client project meetings as required. Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and assess project risks; contribute to risk reviews. Define project scope, schedule, and deliverables. Coordinate logistics and procurement activities. Prepare and issue technical and commercial documentation. Preparation of QA/QC documents such as ITPs and MDRs. Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones. Manage projects from initiation to close-out, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. Coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, and site supervisors. Produce and modify engineering drawings using AutoCAD. Ensure adherence to HSE procedures and promote a safety-first culture. Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budget expectations. Provide accurate and timely progress reporting. Utilise project management software for cost, risk, contract, resource, and issue tracking. Manage document control and ensure compliance with internal standards. Contribute to lessons learned and non-conformance investigations. About You A degree in Engineering and/or 3+ years’ experience in project roles with a technical/trade or engineering background. Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Drafting experience and/or proficiency in AutoCAD. Excellent planning, time management, and organisational skills. Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Awareness of conventional power transmission systems such as gearboxes and couplings. Previous experience in electro‑mechanical drive systems will be highly regarded.
