With a booming, culturally rich and diverse community, and less than an hour’s drive from the CBD, Melbourne’s North is fastbecoming the place to beThe Role:An opportunity has become avaiable for a skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the team at Northern HealthThe Surgeon will work collaboratively within the Orthopaedic Unit, and with our multidisciplinary team including allied health clinicians, nursing and medical staff to deliver high quality Orthopaedic care. The role will predominantly involve Trauma operating; some Elective lists will also be available. The role is based at various Northern Health campuses and

will encompass ward, theatre, on-call, and Outpatient Clinic attendance. There will be opportunity for teaching and research, as well as involvement in other non-clinical activities as required.To be successful in this role you will have:Medical registration with the Medical Board of Australia under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Undergraduate medical qualification as a first degree – MBBS, MD, or equivalentAppropriate specialty qualifications such as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or equivalent in Orthopaedic SurgeryEligible for registration for Medicare provider numberCurrent National Police and Working with Children History CheckNext Steps. .If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.
