About The Role As the Planning Engineer you will be an integral member of the Technical Services team through maximising the value and the safe recovery of the asset, to provide sustainable growth in alignment with the business strategy. The role will provide you with strong growth in Mid‑term planning, by working together with a driven and skilled planning department. As the Planning Engineer your responsibilities include: Mid‑term planning – Monthly/Quarterly Schedule of production and development mining activities. Close collaboration with geological, geotechnical and operational members to develop optimised, safe and practical mine designs and sequences. Communicating your plans and schedules through presentation, physicals summaries and design shape outputs. Driving alignment and track compliance to your plans with the short‑term scheduling team. Assist the long‑term planning engineer with LOM planning projects and feasibility assessments. About You Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mine Engineering or similar 3+ years’ experience in the underground mining engineering Experience with Deswik software package. Skills to be a critical link between engineering/planning and geology, challenging and analysing geological assumptions and interpretation to achieve improved outcomes. Be a highly professional individual that shares in our commitment to safe mining operations. Well‑developed communication and interpersonal skills.
