This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy supporting sustaining capital mining projects. Based in the Adelaide CBD office, you'll be part of a collaborative and well-established electrical engineering team delivering high-quality design and project solutions across major clients within the mining and resources sector. Reporting directly to the Engineering Executive, you'll play a key role in project delivery from design through to commissioning, while providing technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers, and contributing to a culture of reliability and operational excellence. This role suits a technically strong electrical engineer who thrives in a consulting environment and enjoys being involved in every stage of project delivery. Benefits Permanent, full-time opportunity with a respected national consultancy Diverse portfolio of projects Central Adelaide CBD location, flexible, supportive working environment Strong technical team with structured mentoring and career pathways Exposure to multidisciplinary project delivery and long‑term stability Essential Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) 7+ years' professional experience, ideally within mining, heavy industry, or large infrastructure projects Background in an engineering consultancy, EPCM, or project management environment is essential Proven ability to lead design, delivery, and commissioning across brownfields or sustaining capital projects Strong technical understanding of reliability, asset management, and operational integration Demonstrated experience working with internal stakeholders and clients to deliver practical and compliant engineering solutions Desirable Skills Familiarity with HV/LV design and compliance to Australian standards Exposure to multidisciplinary collaboration across mechanical, civil, and process teams Understanding of electrical systems for materials handling, minerals processing, and utilities infrastructure Site‑based commissioning or construction support experience Duties & Responsibilities Deliver detailed electrical engineering designs for sustaining capital projects Review and develop technical documentation across all project stages Lead project scopes through design, approval, and commissioning phases Support and mentor junior engineers within the team Conduct site visits as required for design validation, commissioning, or client meetings Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards Contribute to continuous improvement in engineering practices and project delivery Our Client Our client is a well‑established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy providing design and project delivery services across mining, minerals processing, and infrastructure.
