Principal Process Engineer Energy & Resources | Brisbane Drive the future of energy with Fyfe Fyfe's Energy and Resources Division partners with leading exploration and distribution clients to deliver specialist mining, oil and gas, renewables, and hydrogen projects across Australia. Our portfolio includes everything from process plant modifications and gas transmission pipelines to energy transition initiatives in hydrogen and biogas. The Role As a Principal Process Engineer , you'll play a key role in driving our renewable energy growth while continuing to support major conventional energy projects. You'll lead and mentor a talented team of engineers, ensuring high-quality project delivery across a diverse range of assignments. Key Responsibilities Lead the Brisbane-based Process Engineering team, providing mentorship and technical guidance. Review and sign off process engineering deliverables as an RPEQ. Prepare and oversee engineering design documents and estimates. Lead HAZOPs and LOPAs as the discipline expert. Support business development through client engagement and industry events. About You You are a collaborative leader with a strong technical foundation and a passion for delivering high-quality engineering outcomes. You will bring Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering and RPEQ accreditation (essential). Proven experience in Australian CSG gathering and brownfields projects (highly desirable). Strong knowledge of industry Codes and Standards (e.g., API 520/521, AS 60079, AS 2885). Excellent analytical, communication, and report‑writing skills.
