This 12-month opportunity has become available as the current incumbent has stepped into a secondment within Council—creating a unique chance for a passionate leader to step into a career-defining role. Starting in the new year, this is the perfect time to take on a fresh challenge, lead strategic service planning, and build strong networks while making a lasting impact on children and families across Cardinia Shire. You will make an impact by Leading service planning and operational oversight of early years facilities and programs. Driving continuous improvement in booking systems, fee frameworks, and customer service. Coordinating grant applications, reporting, and acquittals to support strategic initiatives. Building strong relationships with the Department of Education and key stakeholders. Supervising and mentoring staff to deliver high-quality, community-focused services. What you will bring Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. In‑depth knowledge of early childhood education regulations, frameworks, and policy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead, negotiate, and problem‑solve. Experience managing change and engaging with diverse communities. Proven ability to recommend and implement business process improvements. Understanding of the challenges and opportunities in growth municipalities. Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
