The Opportunity: Full‑Time | Ongoing contract of employment. PW5 $74,742 - $80,407 per annum pro rata + 12% super + leave loading (dependent on qualifications and experience). Base campus: Moorabbin – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport. Travel to other campuses will be required. The Simulation Department at Holmesglen is a recognised leader in simulation‑based education and applied research, supporting the entire Health Science, Community and Social Studies (HSCSS) faculty. Based at our state‑of‑the‑art Simulation Centre at the Moorabbin campus, the department plays a vital role in preparing students across all faculty programs, for the workforce through immersive, hands‑on training in realistic clinical environments. Using innovative simulation methods—including role play, simulated participants, virtual and augmented reality, and computer‑based simulations—the team bridges the gap between theory and practice, enhancing learner experience and strengthening industry partnerships. We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Simulation and Digital Technologies Coordinator to support the day‑to‑day operations of our Simulation Centre and support academic staff across all campuses integrate digital technologies into teaching and learning. This role provides technical and administrative support across simulation‑based education and digital learning technologies, ensuring seamless delivery and maintenance of equipment, systems, and resources. Working collaboratively with academic and technical staff, you will help create engaging and innovative learning environments that prepare students for success in the evolving healthcare sector. As a Simulation and Digital Technologies Coordinator, you will: Provide technical and administrative support for the setup and delivery of simulation sessions. Maintain and coordinate simulation, VR/AR, and digital learning technologies and equipment. Deliver technical troubleshooting, maintenance, and training to support effective operations. Collaborate with academic staff to create realistic and high‑quality simulated learning environments. Assist with project activities, research initiatives, and technology enhancements across the faculty. To be successful, you’ll have: Experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining simulation or VR/AR technologies. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities and coordinate resources effectively. Proven collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills across academic and technical teams. Critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities to identify and resolve technical challenges. High digital literacy with a focus on innovation, safety, and continuous improvement. Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, digital media, health, or a related field. WWCC and Police Check: Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
