Functional Consultant SAP S4Hana

SAP S4Hana Functional Consultant, is required to play a key role in designing and implementing S4HANA-based solutions, as part of a larger IT transformation program. Responsibilities Conduct workshops to gather functional requirements for HANA-based solutions and translate business needs into data models and functional design documents. Design business-aligned solutions using SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics, including calculation views, CDS views, and logical data models that meet business reporting and analytical requirements. Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to ensure alignment between functional and technical design. Configure and validate S/4 HANA data models (analytical, attribute, and calculation views) based on user stories or requirements. Ensure optimal performance, reusability, and accuracy of data models, aligned with SAP S/4 HANA best practices and governance standards. Work with business intelligence/reporting teams to deliver HANA-powered reports using SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or other front-end tools. Develop functional specifications for dashboards and KPI reports and embedded analytics within S/4HANA for operational and strategic decision-making. Develop functional test cases and validate S/4 HANA models and outputs against business scenarios. Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT), Data Migration Testing, Production Verification Testing (PVT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT). Support defect resolution and ensure reporting outputs are consistent and reliable. Ensure smooth integration of HANA data models with front-end tools and external systems. Collaborate with technical consultants, developers, SAP ERP, and middleware teams to align functional and technical design and ensure proper data flow and interface integration. Provide knowledge transfer, training, and support to business users on accessing and interpreting HANA based reports. Prepare functional and technical documentation (e.g. Functional and Technical Specifications), user guides, and metadata catalogs. Identify performance issues in data models or reports and work with technical teams to tune queries and improve system efficiency. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards. Act as the functional bridge between business users and SAP HANA technical teams. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on delivery progress, risks, resolution plans and contribute to governance forums and solution design reviews. Stay updated on SAP HANA innovations, tools, and upgrades (e.g., SAP HANA Cloud, Data Lake, etc.). Recommend new use cases and analytics capabilities to leverage SAP HANA's full potential. Qualifications To be successful in this position you must be a highly experienced Functional Consultant who has solid experience in SAP Hana Grow and Rise Functional design and implementation. You will also be able to translate complex business requirements into efficient and scalable HANA data models. Strong understanding of Business Processes and Analytical Requirements including SAP Signavio processes is also a requirement. Excellent analytical and communication skills are a must.
