General Manager

The Board of Directors is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead the club into its next phase of growth. This is a hands‑on leadership role, reporting directly to the Board and overseeing all aspects of club operations, including bar, gaming, functions, administration, marketing and staff management. Key Responsibilities Overseeing all day‑to‑day club operations, ensuring excellence in customer experience and service Managing financial reporting and budgeting to ensure the club’s financial sustainability Providing strong leadership to a team of 10 staff, fostering a positive and professional workplace culture, ensuring ongoing learning and development Managing the club’s gaming and promoting the club’s bowling, food, beverage and function facilities Ensuring compliance with WHS, club industry laws and regulatory requirements Driving marketing and promotional activities to enhance club membership and community engagement Skills & Qualifications Current RSA, RCG, ARCG and AML/CTF Certifications (essential) Current Licensee or Advanced Licensee Certification (essential) Proven experience in club or hospitality management with a hands‑on approach Strong leadership and staff management skills Sound financial management and reporting capabilities Ability to collaborate effectively with the Board of Directors and manage the company secretarial role Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry regulations Excellent computer skills and experience with club management systems, including POS (IdealPOS) and gaming systems (Global Gaming) About the Club With 1,000 loyal members, Leeton & District Bowling Club is a well‑established and community‑driven venue, offering two championship standard bowling greens, a popular Chinese restaurant, and a friendly, family‑oriented atmosphere.
