Step away from the hustle and bustle and discover a rewarding new role in our state‑of‑the‑art vet hospital based at our Roseworthy University campus just a short drive from Adelaide. About the Role: This role focuses on providing high‑quality nursing care and critical support for equine, large animal, and hobby farm patients (including goats, sheep, alpacas, and more). You will play a key role in emergency and critical care cases, surgical support, and the ongoing treatment and monitoring of hospitalised patients, working alongside internal medicine specialists, surgeons, and primary opinion clinicians. Our hospital operates 24/7, and the position involves working on a rotating roster over an eight‑week cycle, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Qualifications: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or a combination of relevant experience and/or education/training with 2 years minimum experience in a similar role. Demonstrated experience in equine handling including ability to safely perform manual restraint; in‑hand leading and controlled lunging. Demonstrated capacity to work in a collaborative, client‑centric team environment delivering best practice. Excellent attention to detail in administering treatments, record keeping and documentation. Demonstrated knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety systems and procedures. Veterinary nursing experience with sound technical skills in areas such as surgery, ECC, IM, or GP. Professional attitude when working with clients and other staff members and students.
