Direct message the job poster from ConnectYou Overview Associate Recruitment Consultant | Project Management & White Collar Construction | Power Transmission & Distribution | Renewable Energy I’m seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join a leading contractor delivering major transmission and distribution projects across Western Australia. This site-based position will see you supervising the construction of powerline and substation infrastructure in regional and remote locations. You’ll be part of a well-established team with a strong track record delivering power infrastructure across the state. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily site activities on transmission, distribution, and substation projects. Lead and mentor electrical crews and subcontractors, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of works. Oversee installation of HV equipment, including conductors, transformers, switchgear, and associated infrastructure. Drive compliance with WHS legislation, environmental obligations, and project quality systems. Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers, and client representatives to ensure smooth delivery of works. Maintain accurate site records, report on progress, and assist with issue resolution. Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and uphold a strong site safety culture. Requirements Demonstrated experience supervising electrical works on powerlines and/or substations. Strong understanding of HV construction, sequencing, and commissioning processes. Ability to manage crews and subcontractors in remote project locations. Strong leadership and communication skills with a proactive, hands-on approach. Qualifications WA “A Grade” Electrical Licence (or recognised equivalent). HV switching and additional industry authorisations highly regarded.
