Overview:

MCR are seeking a facilities technician to join a growing team onsite a data centre in Adelaide.

As a facilities technician, your main duties will be to make sure the Data Centre is maintained to the highest technical and security standards. You will play a crucial and integral role in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility infrastructure and respond to any incidents related to the critical facility.

You will come from a strong electrical or mechanical background with previous experience working in a critical environment.

The role:As part of the facilities team your role will be paramount to ensuring the continued uptime of this mission-critical facilityAssisting in the maintenance, efficiency and reliability of a large and technically complex data centre facilityMonday to Friday day time roleDuties & key responsibilities:Fault findingResponding to alarmsManaging contractorsAdhering to SOPS, MOPS and change management protocolsIncident reporting and documentationRequirements:Australian Citizenship is essential for security clearanceTrade qualified in electrical or HVAC or equivalent tertiary qualifiedExperience working in a critical environment with equipment such as generators, UPS, air handling units, CRAC units etcExcellent communication skillsAbility to lead with good communication skillsStrong understanding of complianceGood computer and written skills - reporting is requiredTeam player with a can do attitude
