Your New Role The Creative Arts Assistant plays an integral role in supporting students and teachers in the Creative Arts learning environment and is required to maintain equipment, resources, records and the cleanliness of classrooms and studio spaces to provide a safe environment for the school community. The Creative Arts Assistant is required to work collaboratively in supporting these teachers in their delivery of curriculum and extracurricular activities. See Position Description Here What We Can Offer Permanent, Part-Time Position Commencing 27th January 2026 - 16th December 2026 10 Hours / Week Work Schedule: Monday (3hrs), Wednesday (4hrs) & Friday (3hrs) Discounted Bupa Health Insurance Access to a Salary Packaging Program Access to our Employee Assistance Program Salary: Level 4 $36.12 per hour - Averaged (term-time only) Essential Criteria Outstanding organisational and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, judgement and discretion and to work under pressure Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills, working across multiple age groups Well developed problem solving skills and a track record of continuous improvement The ability to work well with others Understanding of the Creative Arts and knowledge and skills in relation to creative arts specific equipment is highly desirable (such as photography equipment, musical instruments etc) First Aid and Mental Health First Aid Certificate are required or willingness to obtain Willingness to attend excursions and support teachers with performance evenings and events outside of regular hours when required NSW Working with Children Check Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
