Primary/HV Electrical Design Engineer – Power Solutions (NSW) Pty Ltd About The Role Power Solutions has been providing electrical engineering consulting and design services for over 30 years, delivering quality designs in a guaranteed time. With strong relationships with customers, construction contractors and distribution groups, we have grown into a market leader in the electrical infrastructure field. We are looking for a Primary/HV Design Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full‑time or part‑time basis. You will report to the Design Team Leader and work primarily on projects across NSW. What you’ll be doing: Project manage exciting projects Provide electrical engineering design solutions for our clients Deliver quality designs within guaranteed timeframes Work as part of a team to produce designs Communicate with clients and authorities Complete site inspections and testing for your projects Exciting projects we expect you to lead or be involved in: Supply for high voltage customers Primary designs for industrial developments About You Demonstrated experience with Private HV to AS/NZS 2067 Advanced expertise in ETAP software Experience in protection design or earthing design Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field Minimum 2 years experience in electrical engineering Demonstrated project management skills Strong time‑management skills Excellent communication skills Have a keen eye for detail Energetic self‑starter Natural problem solver Works well both individually and in a team Can‑do attitude Current Australian work authorisation Additional skills that would be seen as advantageous: Experience with commissioning and testing of HV networks Registered or eligible for registration on the National Engineers Register (NER) within the electrical category Knowledge of the NSW service and installation rules Experience across a range of electrical design projects Good understanding of the ASP Level 3 design process (Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid & Essential Energy) ASP 3 registration with NSW Office of Energy and Climate Change Good knowledge of overhead and underground distribution & transmission line design What We Offer You Flexible working hours Competitive salary package Two office locations (Parramatta and Charlestown) – choose your base Hybrid WFH flexibility Rostered days off once a month or a nine‑day fortnight Ongoing training opportunities Variety of projects from 415 V to 132 kV Market‑leading supportive, inclusive and enjoyable company culture Apply by 26 November 2025.
