If this sounds like you, join our team to help make a difference. The Role Join the Communicate Study Partnership as a First Nations Research Officer and help drive meaningful change in healthcare. This role supports initiatives that strengthen culturally safe communication for First Nations peoples, working closely with community interpreters and healthcare providers. You’ll contribute to data collection, engagement, and research translation in a collaborative, respectful, and impact-driven team. Be part of a nationally recognised partnership committed to improving health outcomes through culturally safe care. About you You’re a motivated person with an interest in health research communication and improving healthcare experiences for First Nations peoples. You bring a respectful strengths-based approach to your work and are comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team. You will also bring Qualifications or relevant experience in health, public health communication, anthropology, social sciences, Indigenous studies, or a related field. Experience supporting research or projects including data collection, research administration, or coordination (through university, community, or workplace settings). Strong writing skills for academic and non-academic audiences and an ability to support knowledge translation and community engagement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage respectfully with First Nations communities and health professionals. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new data management and research tools. The benefits Base salary $98,237 per annum (total remuneration package including superannuation $122,183 per annum). Generous leave provisions including 6 weeks annual leave.
