Inventory Planning & Supply Chain Manager Hampers & Gifts Australia (HGA) is one of Australia’s largest online gifting businesses with two highly successful brands, The Hamper Emporium and Gifts Australia. As part of the Maggie Beer Holdings Group, we also manage the e-commerce business for Maggie Beer Products and Hampers. We’re looking for an Inventory Planning & Supply Chain Manager to take ownership of our end‑to‑end supply chain – from forecasting to delivery – ensuring the right products are available at the right time, every time. Role Overview This pivotal role involves leading demand forecasting, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and logistics management, ensuring our customers receive their gifts on time and in perfect condition. You’ll work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Operations to align supply chain activities with seasonal peaks, promotional campaigns, and new product launches in a fast‑growing eCommerce environment. Key Responsibilities Develop demand and supply plans that align with sales forecasts and marketing campaigns. Analyze supplier lead times and production capacity to ensure accurate supply plans. Maintain and monitor stock levels across all SKUs in the ERP system. Optimize reorder points and inventory to meet demand without overstocking or understocking. Manage purchase orders, negotiate lead times, and maintain strong supplier relationships. Ensure delivery timelines and quality standards are consistently met. Create production plans to meet forecast demand and inventory targets. Coordinate logistics to ensure cost‑effective and timely delivery to customers. Optimize costs across inventory, warehousing, and freight. Identify risks and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions. Use data and insights to improve forecast accuracy and supply chain efficiency. Track key metrics and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement. Key Performance Indicators Forecast accuracy & reduced supply/demand mismatches Inventory efficiency (in‑stock rate, days cover, working capital alignment) Supplier performance (OTIF delivery, lead time adherence) Cost control across warehousing and logisticsContribution to customer satisfaction through product availability What You’ll Bring 4+ years’ experience in supply chain, inventory planning, or procurement (FMCG or eCommerce preferred) Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (APICS certification a plus) Hands‑on experience with ERP and supply chain planning tools Strong analytical skills – confident with large datasets and forecasting models Proven track record managing suppliers and negotiating terms Resilient, proactive, and thrives in fast‑paced environments Excellent communicator and cross‑functional collaborator Why Join Hampers & Gifts Australia?
