You will be the go-to technical resource for customers, working alongside sales to design, program, and deliver motion control, robotics, and automation solutions that genuinely improve productivity. This is remote-first with travel to customer sites around 50% of the time, all fully reimbursed. You will work with cutting-edge platforms like Bosch Rexroth ctrlX (Codesys) and integrate robotics, conveyors, and vision systems into complete solutions. Here is a quick overview: $80k to $120k base plus uncapped bonus linked to project performance Remote-first setup with travel in your region, all expenses covered Company vehicle and full tech package provided Medical, dental, and vision cover plus 401(k) with match Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave Clear growth path into senior technical, product, or leadership roles What you will do Partner with account managers on customer meetings, needs analysis, and technical proposals Design and program automation solutions, including PLCs, motion control, and robotics Conduct product demonstrations, training, and technical presentations Lead commissioning, troubleshooting, and post-sales support Collaborate with vendors to size and select components for optimal performance Document projects and create technical resources for future use What you will need Hands-on controls engineering experience from concept to commissioning Strong PLC programming skills, ideally with Bosch Rexroth and Codesys (Siemens experience is transferable) Knowledge of motion control, robotics, and industrial communication protocols Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers Self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities Willingness to travel regularly within your territory (up to 50%) This is a well-established automation solutions provider that combines technical excellence with a personal, relationship-driven approach.
